In this 5-day digital arts camp, students learn how to create visually appealing and emotionally compelling characters. Students will have their own dedicated workstation in our technologically advanced digital arts studio. They will be using Photoshop, a 15” digital tablet, and a powerful gaming laptop to digitally draw and paint their characters.

Students will learn:

  • The importance of shape, color, and style when creating characters

  • The secrets of creating compelling characters for animated movies

  • How to use Photoshop to create professional looking digital drawings and paintings

  • How to create a professional character design sheet that could be used for an animated film

By the end of camp you will have created a professional-looking character sheet to take home!

Ages: 6th-8th Grade
