Inspyr Arts is the visual arts studio of artist and designer, Dylan Stewart. Dylan and his students produce a variety of art projects across multiple art mediums, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and more.

During this 3-month course, students will get hands-on experience in all aspects of filmmaking, from screenwriting to production, and will produce several short films. Students are provided with cutting-edge filmmaking equipment that will take them through all stages of the filmmaking process.
PLUS, students’ films will be featured in the 6th Annual Inspyr Arts Film Festival in 2027.
Each student gets to experience the various filmmaking roles including, camera operator, sound recording and boom operator, assistant director, director, slate operator, script supervisor, etc., as well as learning the vocabulary of film production. Students learn a range of skills including:
pre-production planning
producing
casting
screenwriting
set design
lighting and cinematography
sound recording
camera operation
directing
acting (optional)

3-Month Young Filmmakers’ Course

This drawing course is perfect for anyone interested in learning how to draw figuratively or realistically. This is a classical, atelier style drawing program with a focus on “learning to see.” The goal is to capture the 3 dimensional world around us on a 2 dimensional surface with a high degree of craftsmanship and precision. Commitment to seeing deeply and being in the moment is the goal.
Students will learn drawing concepts and techniques that include: pattern recognition, subject enveloping, blocking in shapes, value, proportion, spatial relationships, sighting, measuring, checking for accuracy, and a lot more!

In this atelier style class, students learn classical figurative or “realistic” painting. Each painting is approached with the goal of “learning to see” on a deeper level. Students learn the techniques that will allow them to confidently identify and utilized line, shape, volume, value, form, and color in their paintings. Drawing techniques are also discussed and practiced. The class is recommended for beginner and intermediate oil painting students that want to learn oil painting from a classical, atelier style approach.
Students will learn:
Oil painting concepts and techniques that include: monochromatic wash drawing or “underpainting,” color wheel, chroma, color mixing, neutralizing color, value, form, composition, shadow and highlight, and more.
Drawing concepts and techniques that include: pattern recognition, notional space, subject enveloping, blocking in shapes, proportion, spatial relationships, sighting, measuring, checking for accuracy, and more.

This 4-week course will take you through the techniques, tools, and supplies to successfully paint using watercolor. Each student will have the opportunity to complete several watercolor paintings using a range of techniques and effects that are unique to watercolor painting. These included wet on dry, wet on wet, washes, dry brush, splattering, sponging, layering, masking, lifting, subtractive scratch off, special effects using salt, plastic wrap, alcohol, and more.
Students will also learn fundamental drawing skills to improve both their sketching abilities and the quality of their watercolor paintings.

Mister Dylan’s art & design camps feature a variety of exciting art projects including drawing, illustration, painting, sculpture, model-making, felt craft, cardboard craft, miniature-making, graphic design and a lot more! Projects incorporate elements of global culture and the natural world, and celebrate art’s relationship with science, math, and history. Best of all, Mister Dylan’s art and design camps are non-digital, non-ai, and screen free.
