This 1-day drawing workshop is perfect for anyone interested in learning how to draw figuratively or realistically. This is an “atelier” style, process-based drawing program with a focus on “learning to see.” The goal is to capture the 3 dimensional world around us on a 2 dimensional surface with a high degree of craftsmanship and precision. Commitment to seeing deeply and being in the moment is the goal.
Students will learn drawing concepts and techniques that include: pattern recognition, subject enveloping, blocking in shapes, value, proportion, spatial relationships, sighting, measuring, checking for accuracy, and a lot more!
